Woody, when will you be there? My wife and I might go there today (I still have to talk her in to it). It would be great to meet you. Bob H

Hey Glenn, good to hear from you. You guys were good neighbors for a couple of years. As I recall you had another buddy there who also had a place in Abreojos. I think I still see him at the Long Beach show, but over at San Pedro Bait.

Good to meet you guys as well. It's nice to spend a bit of time talking baja, instead of just trying to peddle our service.

That's hilarious... anything about fishing and boating is Baja related I would think.

Well, Barry, now you know. Cocaine and unfiltered cigs are bad for your cardiovascular system. Whitney Houston was a drug user. African Americans are more prone to cardiovascular disease that some races.

Now, tell me how this has added to your knowledge of Baja?

And now tell me if you can see a connection between an outdoor adventure convention (the Fred Hall show), a mere 20 miles from the Mexican border, and Baja?

OK, Hook, I will try.

(1) I think Don Jorje is right on.

(2) Anything pertaining to "health" or "fishing" is related to Baja (and everywhere else) IMO.

(3) None of that health stuff you (and the Doc) just quoted above I actually knew------lung related, yes, but I did not know about the Cardio-vascular connection, or the rest of it, for that matter. I live a protected life, you know.

Only thing I knew (or cared) about Whitney was that she was a super singer, and died lately. "Music" was ALWAYS part of our Baja experience, so yes, that too was of interest.

How's that??

WE ALL NEED A GROUP HUG!

that said, DK isn't invited:lol: (just messin!).....

too much car maintenance (Tundra ATF drain/fill, Camry rear rotors and pads) in the driveway to go to the Show.

besides being a fun way to spend the day i don't know if it is any cheaper for me to re-stock my tackle box. after admission and 25 miles each way it seems like supporting my local crusty fish/tackle dealer might be just a better option.

i'll bet you guys that went had a better day than i did!!!!:light:

Well, Tony Reyes Jr., who took over from his father
a few yrs. back was on the San Diego Fishing Radio
show this morn, and is at the Fred Hall Show.
Tony Reyes Sr. was one of the Baja
Legends from San Felipe as well as Bob Van Wormer
from the East Cape, an YES they are a PERFECT addition to this discussion board. To the poster from Ensenada,
learn not to take things personally, raise the bar a bit,
nobody is singling you out. There are somewhat heated disagreements here all the time, but snarky will not
get you anywhere

Speaking of Abreojos.... anyone speak to or know of Fishin' Rich? We used to camp with him and his dog 'Roja' in Baja and Anza Borrego... Since he moved to Abreojos full time, haven't heard from him...?
