A big thanks for those. And, something for you expats to think about. I wonder how many of you realize how SWEET, how emotionally SWEET, a taste like this is to those of us who can only visit, now rarely, and who live with deep longing.

Any idea how to get copies of Bajo California and Los Otros Californios.

I bought something for 5.95 from Amazon for my video library, but don't know how to view it and can't find anywhere to buy Los Otros Californios.

Bajo California is sold at video stores in Tijuana, but no English subtitles during the Spanish parts (it is mostly a visual movie, not much dialog).

If you come over to one of us Nomads who have a copy of the version shown on the Sundance Channel, it has subtitles. It was passed around in 2001... Bring beer, I have pop corn!

I don't know how to make all this you tube stuff work without the thing stopping every 30 seconds to load more, so will make a point to come see you when we are in Southern Cal in a month or 2.

Need to get a copy of that book you have that you bought so many of, anyway.
And of course meet you.

Yes, high speed Internet is a must or a PC with faster processor...

Do you mean Mike Humfreville's book? How I came to have them: ... I saved (half of) them from being destroyed by the publisher and stored them in my garage for Mary Ann to get as many as she wanted (about 500)... and gave 200 more to two Baja businesses to use for promotion or whatever to get his book into as many Baja travelers hands as possible. I am selling the few remaining at about half the regular price, plus shipping.

Yes, Mike's book. I read about them last fall and wanted one and so now we have more then 1 reason to go visit you.

I only have Hughesnet, so I guess none of this digital stuff will work very good for me.

Have to make do with DVD's.

Will check in LaPaz at the video stores.
