LORETO FEST THIS WEEKEND

Loreto Fest 2012 Schedule

It’s a Music and Food Festival with the flavor of a fiesta because it’s Cinco de Mayo, too!

From the taco bar dinner Friday night (free for HPYC members!), regional dancers and musicians to margaritas and Mexican beer at the bar and even the Friday morning Bay Cleanup, it’s a celebration of this beautiful place that draws us all back time after time..

New this year—a Food Court that goes all day and into the evening

The Cinco de Mayo theme continues here with soft tacos and tostadas filled with your choice of shredded chicken or beef, nachos, chips and salsa, even empanadas and sweet treats from the local panaderia for breakfast from 9-11 am daily. (Check back here soon for more details on all the food offerings, sponsored meals, potlucks, contests and more.)

Music, Music, Music!

We are happy to report the return of Bluz Explozion headlining on the main stage Saturday night, but every night is music night.

Thursday’s hors d’oeuvre potluck will be spiced up with Canned Music. Everyone can participate in this one! Bring your favorite two or three songs (max 15 minutes) on a CD or flash drive. Our D.J. will spin the music and the variety should prove interesting and fun.

Friday is the Taco Bar dinner, accompanied by a talented young group of Mexican singers and more music into the evening.

Sunday begins and ends with music, starting with the Champagne Jazz Brunch and wrapping up the weekend with Open Mike Night. All performers welcome!

There will be music during the day, too, and it’s not too late to get involved. If you sing, play an instrument, have a band, contact us at hpyc@hotmail.com for more information.

it's still at Puerto Escondido. you're where you need to be right now, but everyone else who can come on down, or up, or wherever, it should be another great fest!

reality\'s never been of much use out here...
