We're off - 2 Jeeps, one week!

We're off to San Quintin, then down to meet Shari and stay at the Beach House, Loreto for a couple days, and adventure our way home via as much dirt roads as time allows. I'll figure out the picture posting when we get back. If you see two Jeep JK's, red and white, give us a shout out - cheers!

You're going to love the weather in Bahia Asunción. I was in Vizcaino ayer and the afternoon got a bit warm (104F). If you can pick up a package of Dill SEED and cilantro SEED for me, before you take off it sure would be appreciated.

well Racingron IS just that....they raced into Asuncion with 2 snappy jeeps...I particularly liked the mini bar set-up in the racy red one from which they served up a cream-sickle type concoction as well as offered a home made nutty dark brewsky that without a doubt was THE smoothest, tastiest...the BEST glass of beer I have ever had in my entire beer drinking career. We worked out a little bartering for their next stay here....check out the groovy bottle it came in too. Ron is the guy double fisting cream sickles....what a guy eh!

It was a whirlwind visit...dinner at Juanita's cafe and off they set this morning for points south taking the coastal route so watch for 2 jeeps blazing by Blanca!

great to meet you and your team Ron and look forward to something more than a one night stand!

Finally got a chance to connect here in Loreto.

Jardines in San Quintin was amazing - and under $30!!

Shari your hospitality is over the top - thank you and yes we will be back!! Juanitas was fantastic and the weather was great! The low road to Bocana and Abreojos was awesome! Alfredo (black Jeep CJ) in Abreojos took us to the fish plant and donated 20lbs of ice to our tip - thank you!

Pics and more stories to come when I get home - going to be missing a few pics and video though as the rear Jeep bumper is NOT a good Iphone holder...somewhere on the road to La Bocana.....

Are there homebrewers that want the recipe?

It's a nut brown ale I've worked on for a while. I call it 'Busta Nut Brown Ale.'

Hola Scott and a hearty welcome to the Nomad sandbox...geezo....that's a wonderful recipe but kinda takes the magic out of your amazing beer!!! I was totally serious about bartering some of your outstanding brew in exchange for whatever your heart desires here in Asuncion....rooms, lobster, abalone, fishing......I just cant get the smooth taste of that beer out of my mind.

What it looks like in a recipe is sometimes overwhelming, unless, you make it and then it's just another way to make, um, beer. Bubbles and alcohol, i'm in!
