Mulege- Rain pics

No fishing today with the bad weather and winds so we decided to head up to Santa Rosalia. It wasn't to be... Hwy 1 closed just north of the Chivato turn off.

Near Saul's Market

Road to the Serenidad/Airport

River pics.. it was low tide and zero issues,

added river pics.

Shouldn\'t one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check or Sec.8 housing?
........... I had to pass one to earn it for them!

Hope it keeps up raining a bit here and there for a good Fall/Winter bloom. I'm up for some good botanizing this year.

Did they dredge the river already?

The rain means a good pitaya (pitahaya) season, I hope!

no dredging...to many "cooks in the kitchen" with different ideas on the enviorment and the impact it would have to the wildlife

the river will never be dredged...it is what it is

the road is alreaady cleared and good to go...another dirt spot but passable for sure with ANY car or truck

As AirstreamW shows in his gorgeous pic of the lighthouse, its rainin' today, a strong non-windy chubby rain (thank you Steve Martin for that fun flick).

As to the river, I'll not post what I don't know.
What I do know is this: The engineers are here in town and have rented a house with relatives. Their contract is for six months.

Perhaps the Mulege river clean-up needs its own thread...

I don't get it?

I understand that we need rain for farmers, etc.....

but corn is an "evil" crop....used in food and killing us....wasted as ethanol....

I like it, however, when roasted in the husk and over coals....
