Quite a Day

Guess this will have to fit in General Discussion.

Today in Baja Sur was full of surprises. Got a last minute invite as the only gringos to attend the annual Senor's day celebration. This year it was on the beach with a nice brunch and real live mariachis. Felt like a puppy at 76 as the guy in the center of the shot below is Augustine, age 101.

Then I found out our neighbor's cat was killed a couple weeks back by one or more mountain lions.

Another neighbor caught 15 tuna right out in front of our beach on hoochies and sardines.

Whew!

I think these wonderful cultural event posts need a category of their own...they dont fit into any of the ones we have now...something like baja culture would be nice.

That's great. The only thing better would have been if Augustine himself had caught the 15 tunas.
