ENSENADA LIGHTNING SHOW

Last night was spectacular. Looking across the bay toward Ensenada with the Sierra as a backdrop, the lightning show, looking as though it was right over town was a couple of hours of rapid fire sheet and bolt lightning.
The weather conditions are the same today and thunderheads are building again.
For those in the area, don't miss the show.

I also caught the show last night, Dennis. Returned home late after San Diego day trip. Lightning seems to be an unusual happening here. The scene was surreal with the lightning as back-lighting to the clouds.

Looks like clouds might be leaving us. Lightning may be coming from the turistas lighting up their "firecrockers" this weekend?

Yeah..And they're probably going to get a lot more. There is so much storm cloud activity over the mountains and moving north.

I thought about all you "Cloud People" up there last night, Doc. You really had to have a preferred seat.

I may just be in Ensenada tonight. Hope I get a light show. Today in Lake Elsinore it was pouring rain.
