Tall Ships

The largest Tall Ship festival on the west coast hosted by the Maritime Museum of San Diego, was held this past weekend. More than twenty tall ships from around the world are visiting San Diego. It was quite a sight.

That's awesome... I will be fishing off Oceanside tomorrow, maybe we'll spot a few sailing to S.D.

Shouldn\'t one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check or Sec.8 housing?
........... I had to pass one to earn it for them!

Sunfish, not a common sight in So Cal in my experience, I've only seen a few.

As you can see we have Baja water 9 miles offshore, crystal clear and 75 degrees... caught bigger yellowtails here than we did in Mulege,,,but we used live bait here , just off of Oceanside..

Yes... near the 209 and 181 spots, got dorado also. This was 9 days ago.. We went yesterday and got skunked, I went north of the 209 and the few paddy's we found were empty except for the giant sunfish. DFG was at the docks and reported just one dodo yesterday. Most are saying to stay south of the 181.. hope that helps. I will be going again late next week, maybe the tuna and dodo's will be back..
