I have a set of timing lights that will give you the ET over whatever distance. I will give them to you for use at future race events. I doubt we can
make it down before Dec. but I may be able to send it with a friend. I'll see what atv/utv stuff I have laying around. I'm sure I'll find some cool
stuff.....
As a matter of fact, pro armor owes me... pick anything they sell.
timing lights,,not a christmas tree

Shouldn\'t one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check or Sec.8 housing?
........... I had to pass one to earn it for them!
\"I\'ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go?\"

Willyairstream .... I'm in... the local races are fun. The Mulege people enjoy most activities with a zest for life. Some times it reminds me of
Kansas in the 40's ... the simple life with simple pleasures a lost art in the States. Rev those engines.

Date - may be incorporated with the Mulege Expo, Nov. 16th or the following weekend.
We have permission to use the road and Police support. There will be many prizes, from T shirts and hats [ thanks BigMike ], to dinners and drinks
from local restaurants and bars, and custom trophies. There will also be at least one raffle for handcrafted leather goods. If you have something to
donate, let me know.
Golf carts are welcome, [ you will need to bring youre own extension cords ] Senior Cold Beer, Marty is ready for the challenge again, so remember,

We have re scheduled the race! It took awhile for everyone to recover from the hurricane, but it is a GO now. December
23rd, event starts at 11am til 4pm and the BAR B QUE will be from 1 to 4. This is a benefit to help with Miguel's medical expenses. All
proceeds go to his expenses. Miguel was the passenger in the tragic accident with Bart.
We have permission to set up a road course around the 2 large houses under the bridge, we will set up a hill climb, the police have issued the permit
to use the road for drag race etc [ the road is no longer a 1/4 mile long] and most restaurants in town are giving gift certificates of dinner for 2
to be used as prizes. We are approaching many other businesses and will post the prizes as they come in.
This will be a non serious race event, so bring anything that you can ride on, vs ride in. Classes will be determined at the start of races. Kevin,
[the Okie from Brooklyn] will be the MC and beer ticket disperser. His sparkling wife, Kathy, will be the race bet taker.
We also need about 4 volunteers to be race co coordinators. Also, anyone that would like to print a few flyers and pass them out [ hint to Russ at PC
and any beach people ], please u2u me and I'll send you a PDF.
Santa will be there! racing his sled and spreading good cheer.
Please post any questions or race ideas.

After a restless nights sleep wondering if anyone would show up, the Mulege Lurkers came thru! We had 24 quads, 3 motos, desert buggy racer and a
golf cart! I'd like to thank the Major for issuing a permit to close the road, the cops for the escort service and the volunteer ambulance on scene,
the businesses who donated prizes, as well as the people of Mulege. Almost forgot, A thank you to Pacifico for a discount enabling the beers to be
sold for 10 pesos and a special thank you to the Mulege En Movimento A.C. folks
The race has taken on a name ... The Mulege Media .500 *{ thats point 5 }
We ran 10 drag races and about 10 road course races. The final highlight race was Armando driving a Joyner mini buggy against Ken in the desert buggy.
Armando lead most of the 5 laps, but tossed his battery just before the finish line giving the win to Ken. The Odd Duck Challenge was won by Pac on a
Trails 70 mini bike over Larry and Cathy in a stock golf cart.
Other crowd pleasing races were Kamikaze Kim, driving a 400 ex, against Combat Pilot Al, driving a Razr, who were inches apart in 2 drag races with
Kim claiming victory by a valve stem.
Suicide Stulege doing donuts for the crowd, young Jose Antonio winning his first 2 races give the crowd a HUGE grin and young Armando taking on all
contenders and winning most in his Joyner.
Santa drove up in his Quad with his helper { mulegemicheal and ros } delighted young and old kids tossing out handfuls of candy and match box toys,
very cool.
Kevin did a great job MC ing the event and Cathy not only won the womens division { sorry Elizebeth} but did so while keeping Kevin supplied with
beer. Looked like everyone had a great time and many pesos were raised for medical expenses for people of Mulege.
Look for future Mulege Media .500 races.

Also, a big thanks goes to you "Willy" for organizing the event and publicizing it. Without your perserverance this would not have happened.
One more thank you goes out to Tom our fearless race starter who would jockey the drivers into position and start them off with a drop of a palm
frawn.
Look forward to the next event(s).
