I love seeing the the pricing of solar equipment getting lower. I bought a 24V 250 watt Grape Solar panel for $355 this past November, picked up at the factory in Eugene, OR. Very Happy.

Can't speak for the rest Bob but mine are definitely not seconds/blems. The deal was you had to buy a minimum of 3kW. I showed up with cash in hand but only needed 2kW so they went ahead and honored the price.

I bought mine from Innotech and I watched as the forklift pulled down a brand new crate of panels. I counted no less than another 300 crates at which point I had only covered a portion of their warehouse and quit counting.

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever today to be paying anything much over $1.00 per watt. China has flooded the market and with the wave of solar installs subsiding, lots of vendors with too much cash invested in panel inventory. It's easier to dump panels than get (another) line of credit to meet cash flow needs.

Shopping around right now definitely pays off.
