New Restaurant in San Ignacio!
Gary and Teri's daughter Toni will be opening a new restaurant in San Ignacio this fall. Were so happy here to hear about it! They plan to have a nice
patio and bar and it is located on the same street as the hardware store. They are working on it now. She is a great cook like her mother and she has
some wonderful ideas for the menu.
We all want a peaceful world, filled with love and laughter, but we fill ourselves with anger and hate trying to fiqure out how to achive it.

Sounds great... for those of us who don't live there... please describe how to find it (or that hardware store) from Hwy. 1.

Sound great! What will be the name of this place?

The hardware store is Castros, the street is just one block east of the plaza, and just about kitty-corner from Juanita's Casa Leree.

Couldn't believe how big the back patio is! And even the inside! This is what we have been waiting for! Not a lot of parking in the front but the
plaza is only one street over. They should be able to start painting next week and the garden will be an on going thing. Toni has a great personality
so she will be such a draw for the travelers to come back and visit. Were getting cuttings of our plants to donate for the garden and offering what
help we can. You can stop by and see the progress in your comings and goings.

Okay, so one drives to the mission from Hwy. 1, and turns left at the plaza at the mission and then go one block past the plaza?
I presume you then take a left to get close to the back side of Casa Leree?
Let's help out the new place and make finding it easy!
I can do a Google Earth once I know where it is.

Fantastic news. San Ignacio is one of our very favorite places and a good restaurant is badly needed. With the Casa Leree reference, it should be
really easy to find in that small town.
Thanks and hope to see you there on our next visit.

I THINK that you go into town the mission when you reach the plaza, take an immediate left, then take the next left, then take the next left and it
will be in that block. Am I close Bajame?

Help out an old geezer here. The "circulación" around the zocalo used to be solo un sentido, one-way. Counter-clockwise. So driving in, drive PAST the
zocalo one street then make that left?

No you basically go around the zocolo(dont know about the one way either so maybe you can just take a left at the stop sign before the mission). So
take that left, then the next one, then in front of Casa Leree you take another one and it is down on your right. You can see it coming into town if
you look up the street to your left before the mission.
Hope that helps

You are right, DK.
Turn left at the Mission, left at the first corner of the plaza. About 100 feet later there is the blue building on the right, Casa De Leree. The
moment you turn left there, find a place to park because parking is tight in that block.
The restaurant "TOOTSIES" is on the right. Lots of lights and seems like a lot of action there. Lots of Canadians and Americans.
I was going to post some photos from 6 weeks ago but Photobucket is on maintenance mode.
I'll edit the post later and add the photos.
They can seat about 25 inside and another 40 in the back patio.
Desserts are fabulous!
Their drinks have "designer" ice cubes.
