Lots of Rain & Wind

Amigos, it was a very good storm and I give thanks the center passed north of us even a little. Power out Monday & Tuesday. Steady rain all day Monday with some downpours and Tuesday the wind blew pretty good!! In the 25 to 40mph range? A few leaky spots but my Palapa did very well, again. The beach was awesome on Tues morning with maxing high tide, 8-10 ft surf, and blowing gusts of wind. We all loved it, esp the dogs! It absolutely poured most of the day; as much rain as I've ever seen; any more would have been .... It's green everywhere today and our rainsoaked landscape is a little buggy. Anybody say "bobos"?! Banda Ancha Internet finally up and working. Anybody else got a story? Could have been worse I'm happy to say. Buen dia. Tio

It was sweet of you to call tio...glad you guys are all OK...hope we can say the same in a couple hours...I admit I grossly underestimated the wind speeds...should have boarded up those windows after all...hmmm....I hear hammering out there...maybe Juan is getting something over them now.
We are gonna do a drive about now to see how town held up....report at 11! Pretty cool the internet has held up!

Interesting, Pescadero lost Internet (Banda Ancha) so I could not follow Shari's thread and read everyone's news. Shimmer, in Todos Santos, was reading and reporting using the fibre optic hardline connection!? It's a beautiful, calm day today. Best wishes to all esp in Mulege. Tio
