GO OUT NOW, Look East! Where's the full moon!?

Total Eclipse in progress... A break in the weather gives a view to tonight's total eclipse. It is 7:16pm and will be total in a few more minutes...

Just saw it go totally black, over the Sea of Cortez. A few clouds, enough to make it interesting.

It's just on it's way back here in Victoria. Kind of "smokey" looking! Clear skies. Cool outside...6 degrees (about 40-45 for you guys down south!)

Huh? Why would BAJA Nomads talk about weather in the Philippenes??? This was a celestial event, more interesting than weather, I think.

Nice photo Matt, but to the unaided viewer, the moon was much darker.

really nice in Irvine.
Had to try to see it several times as the clouds blocked the view often.

STILL getting thunder storms in Irvine this morning. Heard this might be the wettest October in the history of San Diedo ( Well...back to the 1850's anyway)
