Mood: Move on. It is just a chapter in the past, but don't close the book- just turn the page

Counting Chile Rellenos to sleep...

You know it's great to travel. But the problem begins when you want good Mexican food and can't get it. There is no better place for Chile Rellenos anywhere than Senor Guisado's off of Reforma in Ensenada. Drive down Reforma, pass the IMSS and Papa John's/Dairy Queen complex, and make a left. When you get to the Boxing arena/Baseball stadium on your right, you will see just before that on the right side of the street on the corner, Senor Guisado's. I went to this HORRIBLE place in Hilo, Hawaii called Reuben's. I asked for Chile Rellenos. They served me this plate that had old, burnt cheese and the sauce was literally to gag for. That is when I would start dreaming about Senor Guisado's in Ensenada. Even another place in Hilo, didn't have refried beans, and Senor Guisado also has the best Mexican rice and refried beans anywhere. Darn, I couldn't get good Mexican food anywhere, even in San Diego. San Diego is a little better but still, Mexico has the best Mexican food hands down. It's sort of like you start putting things in the back of your mind, but they start popping up, like counting chile rellenos instead of sheep to sleep. Well no, I wasn't looking forward to coming back down to Mexico. I had alot of work to do for my medical license. But I have to admit I have had a heck of a good time since I have been here. Visiting old friends and enjoying the Baja. And I satisfied my craving for my favorite Chile Rellenos.
