BIG Police Action in Rosarito Today

Just south of the stoplight at the McDonald's corner on Benito Juarez Blvd, the main drag, hubby saw what he estimated at about one hundred cops with guns drawn and crouching behind the protection of their vehicles with a bomb disarming van on site.

That's all we know - does anyone else have any info?

Having a drawn pistol around a "bomb disarming" activity is a recipe for disaster......

I Asked Him to Tell Me as Much as Possible

He said that the cops were outside the perimeter, using their vehicles to protect themselves from anything coming from the location that was the focus.

Hubby was trying to get home and all traffic was directed into the oncoming lane, away from the standoff.

That's all I have - does anyone have any more info?

They may have stumbled across a parked truck with a crate in the back with big labels on it.

Maybe it was just a family squabble between the regular cops and the bomb cops over jurisdiction.:?::o;):light:
