That is what we will be doing! Selling our book... yes, and we will sign books too; have the newest edition there for all of you! The Baja Calendar
2013 and all the other books on Baja are for sale, as well, at Discover Baja!
Remember they moved a couple years ago, so get the new address (1-5 to 52 to Regents to Governor)!
Looking forward to seeing you... wear your 'got baja?' hat so I can recognize you in the crowd!
It is great that Discover Baja carries so many books. I remember in the late 90s, I visited the Map Centre in San Diego when it was located near
SDSU. I am accustomed to following stores, and Discover Baja is programmed into my Google Maps.

Hi Ken, no... and it is Max's slides (but some of my pics may be included)... Just to be clear, we will be there with a few others and the slides will
be a background rotating file of Baja & Alta California missions. This is not just a show for our book... but instead a Winter Fiesta and will
feature us, the Baja Calendar 2013, The Baja Plant Field Guide, etc.
So, please come for any Baja related interests, not just missions... wine and cheese will be served, just remember to RSVP!
Who will be coming to the 'Discover Baja, book signing fiesta?
I am heading down to Rosarito to drop another load of my stuff to store, at Mindy's (Jeans) house. I was going to go Friday, but am waiting until Sat.
so I can hopefully meet some old Amigos and new Nomads.
Maybe if you are coming UP from Rosarito area, you can pick up Mindy? and I will take her home? She might not be up to making it, but, I just a
thought to throw it out there in case.
DK, can I help set up or anything? I'm looking forward to seeing you and Angel there. Will your kids be coming? Lol...Not kids anymore are they. They
grow so fast. I'm missing my G=Kids like crazy!
Also, I will have my little chihuahua with me. Is there anyplace I can put her? or, bring her in with me? I can't leave her in a hot car.
I'm counting the hours.
BIG HUGS TO ALL, M
P.S. I copied DK's post below...

Hi Michelle, it will be nice to see you again and other Baja Nomads, too! I hope Doug (BajaNomad) makes it, too... he has 'liked' the announcement on
our Facebook page: http://facebook.com/oldmissions
The Discover Baja office is not very big and there will be overflow out front if a lot show up. I think Carol (DB owner) will have Max and I set up
inside, since we will have a revolving slide presentation going on in the background. There may be a shade area to park for your dog, but I don't
think there is any other place, unless you keep it in your purse (my mom had a tiny chihuahua). It is a strip mall and Sprouts store with a big
parking lot, has trees I think, it may be cloudy?
Baja Angel is a maybe... she may take her car down, so she can leave before 5, if she comes down. My daughter and granddaughter live in Arizona and my
son is not going to be there, I don't think.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing all of you... Jim of the 2013 Baja Calendar might be riding down with me, as he lives along the way and he will be
filming the event... All of you with 'got baja?' hats... or Baja Nomad shirts... put on a show!
Roy, 'The Squarecircle' told me by phone he is coming... so it seems to be a small Nomad gathering after all. I am bringing my copy of the new Baja
Plant Field Guide to get autographed, so I hope its author will be there too!
