DaliDali, Just in case you need it to answer Bruce's question about....

Camera Shutter Count?

Find out how many shots your Digital SLR has taken with one of many tools... like this free one:

http://www.camerashuttercount.com/

My newest Nikon D40 has taken 8887 shots as of today...about 18% of the expected life of the shutter.

I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

Not very many.
It's less than a year old and I am not a huge shutterbug.

Sorry I cannot give you a more precise count of shutter snaps.

After further research on shutter snaps......this camera will have an estimated 95.5% shutter snaps left, having taken approximately 100 photos to date.

When I run the test on my Nikon D3000 I get the msg:
"It looks like your camera doesn't supply the necessary information."

My camera is probably too cheap. I can, however, find the info from software that accompanied the camera. Maybe there is some security barrier that doesn't enable that Dot Com to read it. Can't be too careful, ya know. :)
