Daylight Robbery in Mulege!

I came in from fishing this morning, and was cleaning my fish at the launch ramp. I turned my back for less than 1 minute, and a horde of seagulls made off with ALL my filets! Federales have been notified...Film at 10...

At least you have somewhere to clean your fish at the launch. Here in the "Magico" city of Loreto all we have is someone collecting over 130 pesos to launch the boat.

Must of been small filets or a super strain of Sea Gulls.

No, plenty of daylight, but I think his thunder might be in danger.

The governor was in town to dedicate the cleaning of the harbor at San Bruno and I said to the API representative that I hoped that they would never sink to the low level of the Loreto API office and try to collect a usage fee for the ramp. He responded that it was a collection of local fishermen who were upset about the "gringo collection of fishermen who were skirting the laws and doing "quasi-charter" business that caused the problem. Never one to give up on the first response, I asked if there was any reports of problems with our ramp and gringo's using the ramp to take out potential charter people. He said he had heard of nothing, but in our area there is not much charter business anyway.
Seems that our harbor recieved the dredging because of the officials at San Marcos Island wanted to make sure that the harbor stayed open so that they could run the taxis back and forth from the island and there was not much consideration given for the fishermen anyway.

What about 'em?

They're stuffed full of fish... and drunk on their ear!
