LUXURY RV PRICE JUST REDUCED TO $199,000. ( I HOPE NOMADS WILL LET ME POST THIS)
The coach was originally going to be used for Baja travel, but now the money is needed for family expenses (need to help my teacher daughter buy a
condo for her new job out of California).
Here are two of the links that I have it advertised in:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIWosEDs15g
The other one in irv2 has a full description:

Here a couple of current photos:

"ILLNESS"...
The California DMV will no longer let me have a "B" class driver's lic. (required for this size rig) because my MD will not sign the medical
certificate required for the class B.
Regarding the fire, I am fairly sure I posted that on Nomads.
Thanks for your thoughtfulness, however rts.

For the right person, this fine RV is the ideal buy. Stored inside, everything maintained. 45' is like condo living.
So, I was not aware of the ''B'' DL. What is a ''B'' DL? Requirements?
Don't recall all the details so I'll ask: how long have you owned? how much did you pay? where did you buy? how much money have you invested?

In Ca. and a few other states they require you to have a Air Brake endorsement on any thing that has air brakes and is over 40ft. I
in length I had a 37 ft. with air brakes and a regular D.L. was ok.
a class B lisc. has the Air Brake endorsement.

J.P. is right on the money on this one, Lee.
I was originally going to make the trip to South Dakota to get the same class B, but I again have to have a valid medical certificate, and after the
29th of this month, my "B" is no longer valid.
To answer Lee's questions:
Yes, this is a really terrific deal (assuming you want to drive something that size.) It really doesn't drive any different than a pick up...just have
to make wide turns on corners.
2- I have owned it since 2007, when I bought it from a private party, in Vancouver. As you know, The first year of driving a new coach, one has to
take it to the dealer after every trip because something is always going amiss. Big hassle...the wife has to follow you both trips (drop-off and
pick-up) so the dealer works on the electrical, plumbing, hot water, refrigerator, generator, a/c, inside lights, inverter, etc..........and on, and
on.
I'm glad I did not have to go through that. The previous owner did that.
3- I originally paid about $390,000 (sticker price was $587,000). I registered it in South Dakota because of their low sales tax and registration
fees. Tax was 3% and reg fees is still $387.00 per year. I could be mistaken, but in SD, the registration is 1% of the original value when registered
in the state, and after 10 years, (again, correct me if I am mistaken), the reg is either minimal or no charge.

Bring on the hints, J.P.
The Detroit 60 has pulled my Jeep well. Could not even tell it was back there. Mileage did not change either.
We have yet to drive to Baja, but so far it has been in Oregon, Washington, Montana, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and of course, California.

Udo,
There might be a "slight difference" in handling the RV and the pickup....

That is a great looking surfing vehicle, motoged.
The surfboards will easily fit in the basement storage compartments of the coach.
Plus you can easily boondock for about a week without using the generator. The solar panels handle most of the daytime electric juice.

Wow, if only it has better ground clearance and 6x6. . .
Udo, joking aside, I think you are one of the very few, if any, here in BN who possess that kind of luxury RV. It looks like you've arrived a long
time ago. Good luck on your sale.

Thanks, wesson...
If not sold by next weekend, it is on consignment to McMahon's RV in Westminster.
They tell me they can guarantee me $195K within 30 days.
They drive the coaches to shows and leave it on the lot in the mean time.
$195K would be nice!
