Baja, perfect place for this information, SALUD!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=s...

I have started drinking sea water from Northern California and my Acid reflux has improved tremendously.
I am sure that many Baja residents would benefit from it!
All this information and I just heard about it from my family in Chile where Aurelio Dominguez just started a dispensary and met with my family members.

Don't shoot the messenger, enjoy.

Salud amigos!

Salt water is a strong laxative. There are internal cleansing programs developed around its use.

Lot more than sodium chloride in that water. Dang! Why does this keep haunting me?

After reading lots of information on sea water intake, they recommend approx 3 glasses of water a day and most people drink it mixed with filtered water at a 70/30 ratio or 60/40. Less portion of sea water than filtered water.

It improves your well being because it has lots of dissolved basic elements, it raises the ph of your system that is 70% saltwater to start with. For starters it helps your digestion and your bowel movements. It lowered my blood pressure by ten numbers in two weeks.

You should cook with it if you have access to it.

It is actually easier to stay hydrated, I mix a third sea water with ice and seltzer water. Sometimes a little tequila with a lime squirt and no need for salty on the rim.

They been using it in Spain and Colombia for years. They sell a bottle in europe for 10 euros!

Do not ignore it's benefits because you heard wifes tales!

Diarrhea is no wife's tale, and it can be a sure way to dehydrate oneself in a hurry. That can be dangerous.

You need to be giving the "warnings" along with this advice.

As long as you start slowly and mixed the recommended ratio you will not get diarrhea. It is not the typical bacteria caused diarrhea it's a cleansing of the intestines. If you get it it goes away very quickly and you have to cut back on the percent mixture. Start slowly is the key.

It goes away when you're empty, and well on your way to a state of dehydration.
Anyway....thanks for being a bit more candid with your explanation.

Most people are on a 2 gram sodium diet. A cup of seawater contains about 250 milligrams. three or four cups a day would be half of your sodium intake. What specifically causes improvement in acid reflux with seawater? How is your blood pressure? High sodium content can cause water retention which can cause high blood pressure.

Salt water from the sea does not necessarily raise your blood pressure, not the same as table salt. My BP dropped by 10 in two weeks. It's alkaline. It has all the elements of the periodic table in solution! Nothing better to promote health than Salt water from the sea!
There are studies that show that salt does not increase BP.

a couple of times when i was young and got pounded while surfing, out of breath and still being "rag dolled" by the wave i took small sips of the water and i swear it depressed the need to breath. almost like it took my mind off of the need for a breath.....

From where do you think table salt comes? Ocean water does not contain all of the elements...some do not exist in the natural state. The amount of sodium and potassium vary in all ocean waters. Heard of osmosis? Some wacky advice here.

Just the same, I would be interested in knowing the trace mineral content besides Sodium. The most important thing is that you are feeling better. I think the patient's input is very important in deciding whether or not to continue a treatment.

Start to establish that by holding a small mirror in front of his/her mouth.
