ts/Hurricane Erick
Didn't think this posted as I lost wifi connection earlier. Looking at eebmike now ts is a bit stronger and heading towards Cabo. Ocean water has
warmed up to low 70s w/ small south swell. 10-15mph breeze out of the west but I'm thinking Erick will overpower this flow. Time to batten the
hatches and get supplies; beer & gasoline. Let's hope we get some good rain. Tio

This Citter May Be Unpredictable As Hell
A bunch of "different from normal" steering currents at work. There is a chance of it skewing more to the NNW. Much warmer water there for it to feed
on. Man I hope not...

...another forecaster's description....
''TROPICAL Wx ALERT- Erick has booked his flight to Cabo and will arrive sometime Monday morning. He will likely be a storm instead of a hurricane by
that point but I am of the opinion that he may hang onto the hurricane designation longer than the intensity models think. Regardless, there will be
good surf today through tomorrow afternoon but then conditions will deteriorate and you'll want to get to know the bartender on a first name basis
through Monday night.''

Best to play it safe. I recall having much more problems, damage and inconvenience caused by rain and water than by wind. Of course III, IV and V
monsters are a different story.

Just got to Todos Santos yesterday. I must admit that this was part of the Baja experience I wasn't counting on, but at least we have the day to
stock up on the aforementioned "supplies".

This has become my favorite site for storm reports. Lots more info than EEB.

Unfortunate for you pauldavid, they say that the west coast of Baja will get the most from Erick if anywhere does.
