Good morning, Shari!

There is a new margarita recipe that just came out in the LA Times...this is one made just for your tastes:

1-1/4 oz Tequila Blanco
3/4 oz ginger liquor (easily made by boiling about a cup of ginger in two cups water, add a cup of sugar and a cup of Triple Sec). Reduce contents to about 1/2 it's original size.
1/2 oz pineapple juice
Juice of one Mexican lime
1/2 oz agave syrup
Slices of fresh ginger

Shake in a c-cktail shaker with some ice. Shake well to bring out the ginger flavor.
Strain into a glass and garnish with a piece of fresh ginger that was rubbed on the glass edge.

I'll bring some Ginger Liquor in August, Shari.

Also the season for jaiba just opened. Had monster dungeness crab day before yestersay. Dungeness crab, fresh bolillos and a glass of carbernet sauvignon is pretty tough to beat.
