Baja Blood Pressure cyber clinic

OK Guys and Gents, sit in the comfort of your palapa for 15 minutes and take your blood pressure. The left arm is closer to the heart and more accurate. Let us know what blood pressure you have. Use a larger cuff if you are a big guy, a small or normal cuff on a large guy will cause higher blood pressure.

What meds are you taking or not taking to control your blood pressure.

Woody this is for you...I noticed yours was off the chart. What are you doing about it?

Hmmm, I noticed you didn't mention the ladies??

We just lost a 52 yo female friend to the "widow maker?" I guess it should be called a widower maker.

Ladies, rap em, strap em and pump them up, to check your stats as well.

Notice: I am not a Dr., but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night!

Since we are on a health topic, it appears that Mexico City has banned salt shakers from restaurant tables.............

Important though, what is your 15 minute resting blood pressure 2 hours after taking your BP medications?

Can you say "Nanny State"???........they are in our face with a soda and twinke ban and a high speed train to nowhere, but when we need them to really do something (like cut spending and reduce taxes) they are deaf. All they care about are pork projects and getting reelected.

I think ban on Manteca would be more appropriate. The restaurants load the food up with salt before they serve you in Mexico, who needs to add salt after?

Banned salt shakers? Groovy, now we can enjoy shakers with 20% pepper and 80% ground up charred tortilla.

Losartan 50mg

Amolodipine 5mg

You are lucky, if that dosage works. Larger doses of Losartin are known to cause dizziness and larger dosages of amlodipine will cause swelling in your legs.

Yeah, too bad people don't take care of themselves, then gov wouldn't need to. Insurance premiums and Medicare taxes would be a lot less. I don't blame Bloomberg for trying. Banning harmful stuff is a good idea, especially considering individual irresponsibility. Strokes, heart disease, obesity, and diabetes are for the most part a result of poor lifestyle choices. It's our fault.

So....we pay for our indiscretions. That's our choice.
I don't need the government to tell me how to live their way. They have no idea what I want....my choice.....and I don't care for their suggestions.....turned to laws.
Leave me alone with my decisions.

127/79. I've been taking BP meds for 35 years. I've maybe missed 10 days. I always take it. I think I was born with hypertension. It's just me. Essential hypertension as the docs say.

I've taken every BP med invented, currently Losartan 50mg, Amolodipine 5mg. Same as Bajaguy. Good stuff but pricey. I buy it in TJ.

I used to buy my meds in Ensenada and thought they were a bargain. I refilled my scripts in Nevada and received a 90 day supply for less then I was paying in Baja....depends on what health plan/insurance/medicare plans you have.
