Official Titulo Medico EnsenadaDr

Took over 6 months to get here, but just so you know I was a doctor in the Military Hospital in Ensenada as an intern from 2010-2011 and a doctor in Esteban Cantu, Ensenada in a rural clinic from 2011-2012 under the Secretary of Health in Mexico.

This is my official Titulo issued by Mexico:

Good for you. The waiting game is crazy, but it's over.

For you folks who don't have the details, Dra. Janene started medical school at the age of 47 [I think] while raising a daughter. This is no minor accomplishment.

Thanks Dennis, but you must be mistaken, I am only 29 years old. Hahaha. All kidding aside, Dennis helped me financially through the hard times, and for that I will be forever grateful. He was and is a very good friend. I volunteered for two years without pay through my internship and year of social service. I worked most of the years in the US while in Mexican Medical school, but the last year because of the daily and nightly obligations it was virtually impossible.

Congratulations. What happened that made you want to become a doctor? Were you in the medical field before that?

Dra. Janene . . . congratulations! Wishing you only the best for the future.

And I thought you were only a no-tell motel roadie

Yes I am a registered nurse right now in the US as well. I love medicine. It was a huge sacrifice but I am happy all in all that I did it. Got so much more knowledge.

Thank you very much. Just waiting for my Cedula Profesional which takes a while to process. That is my official license to practice medicine in Mexico by myself. I have been a Medical and Surgical Doctor in Mexico for over 2 years, one year under the licenses of the Doctors at the Military Hospital, and one under the Secretary of Health in Mexico.
