WATCH: Burning Man 2013, as captured by drones
If you didn't have the time, money, or inclination to spend a week in the Nevada desert this year, these videos will give you a taste of what you
missed.

BM got very corporate. Now the tech firms sponsor set ups, and the corporate men helicopter in to spend an hour or a day. And the tickets are assigned
by lottery, ticket prices are high,...
I mean, it's now like football stadium, with corporate boxes, VIP entrances,...
Everybody desperately trying to appear "in touch" and individualistic in the dust, not realizing they became a convention of lemmings and from vantage
point of a drone, look all the same, little copies of each other dressed alike.
The attendees try to make a community they cannot find in their own homes. Some puppet master tells them to go to desert and dress alike and get high
and be free and creative. Lemmings all!
I am amused that this year mark zuckerberg went, but he flew in by helicopter and only stayed a few hours

Yep, very corporate now but in my opinion anything that brings people together in a setting like this with good vibes is a good thing!
peace, love, togetherness, and tie dye or nakedness, may it live on forever in whatever venue!

I thought maybe it was a practice flight for Syria, but the drone wasn't a Predator.

Thanks Cisco, I needed that. The formerly good live feed from the Black Rock desert was miserable this year so I was frustrated.
Last year I had to "Work" s0 I kept the live feed (even out of focus) running for frequent little boosts to my mental energy!
Your drone perspective was fascinating....but anywhere off the playa, I have to support a bounty on drones!

| There's absolutely no need to go to burning man if that's all you're interested in, that's available in any
neighborhood in America.

check out our own U.S. neighborhood's drug/crime scene at crime mapping dot com, now that's scary!

Agreed. Looks pretty cool. Wish I'd have gone 30 years ago when I first heard about it.

Really? When was the last time you were actually there? Corporate boxes? VIP entrances? The Facebook like finger was there as a statement on this
years theme - cargo cult, or false gods. Negative bs much?

In "one nation under God" it seems it has become necessary for some folks, if they are to enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, to retreat
to the vastness of the desert to be free of the condemning superiority of their fiddle farting neighbors.
In the "IN GOD WE TRUST" madness of smart bombs and HellFire missiles, if a bomb went off and wiped out Burning Man the humanity and peacefulness
index of America would drop several points.
The reverse would be true at my secessionist County's Fair. If a bomb wiped-out the crowd at the Destruction Derby on Saturday night, the average IQ
of the County would suddenly increase noticeably.
On the other hand, when non-conformity becomes conformity.....
Undoubtedly, there are people who cannot afford to give the anchor of sanity even the slightest tug. Sam Harris

Thanks Cisco,
I've always had an interest in BM, but the crowds kept me at bay. Love the desert and creativity and your sharing of the video made it kind of come to
be real for me.
Thanks,
Juanito
