Hey PAULINA!

Happy Birthday to one of my favorites! From your signature to your posts. Just wish I knew where you are . . . again, H.B.

Amigos y Amigas,

I don't ever want to be accused of looking a gift horse in the mouth,

I am very grateful for your gift of friendship. Thank you very much for the birthday wishes. I spent the first day of my 52nd trip around the sun on the back of my horse Handy, pondering how in the world am I going to sneak him south of the border when the time comes for me to make my great escape.

(That's a joke. I don't want to start an issue about the legalities of sneaking horses, not paying duty, introducing alien species, smuggling four legged animals, who's bringing too much dog food, where am I going to get medical care when I get bucked off from being chased by the millions of coyotes that are overtaking Punta Banda, will I have to pose nekid on horseback for the next Gorgeous Gals of Baja calendar? etc.)

"Did you say millions of coyotes, mom?! Are they behind me? Are they going to eat me? Please tell me you still have your clothes on."

Thank you again for the birthday sentiment. I'm feeling a bit long in the tooth, but loved, none the less.

Saludos,
P>*)))>{
