Main Street,USA...Different points of VIEW

A lonely country bar along the Canadian/US border in Minnesota. Okay, maybe I was in a different mood and it is the boondocks, but I viewed this as ...BIZARRE.

'biˇzarre'
adjective: bizarre

1. very strange or unusual, esp. so as to cause interest or amusement.

My take....Interested to a degree, but I pray I would never be amused. No two-headed calf for me today, thanks anyway.

I drove on....luckily... because the next thing to catch my camera's eye was at a school stop sign in a small northern town in neighboring North Dakota.

This is a scene that I will remember a long time...one that made me smile and think of grandchildren I would soon be visiting. Norman Rockwell would have captured this quite eloquently....and I think he would have named his painting...

..."The Good Shepard"

A refreshing bit of Americana. Don't you just love that little cutie in lavender who was keeping an attentive eye on me? What a smile...then that wave goodbye... Good grief, hand me a Kleenex, babe.

Beats a two-headed calf any day, right?

Time to move on. You won't believe what I saw next!

I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.
