I like Costa Del Sol...

As you are heading through town, you will see it on the right.

Guillermo's has always worked well for me. Big rooms, great restaurant and great staff. Head south through town, and it's on the left at the end of the strip.

Villa Vita is OK. Cheaper than Del Sol.

About 9 hours to Tecate. A long days drive. Start early.

Last year we headed to Costa del Sol from Kiki's and did not make reservations. She was booked up and we settled for much less attractive accommodations. I would make reservations if that's your intent...

Villa Bahia on the beach North of town a lot better then staying in town. Great friendly staff and free kayak use.

I would allow 9-10 hours to Tecate. It all depends on Lazaro Card##es, and Ensenada traffic.

Been awhile since I overnighted in BofLA. Does the town have 24 hour electricity now?

Ton of traffic from the extensive road construction south of Ensenada these days. May need to allow additional drive time.

We stayed at Costa Del Sol last week twice. Once south bound and again North bound a few days later. Occupancy probably 50%, rooms/food OK ( stay away from the scallop dinners ! Owner lady great as was the big dog. Pets have the run of the place including the restaurant, not a problem.
