Why I can't wait to move to Baja
The following message was brought to you (or rather, us - here in Massachusetts) by the U.S. National Weather Service:
... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 4 am Thursday to 10 am EST
Friday...
The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a Winter Storm
Warning for heavy snow... which is in effect from 4 am Thursday to
10 am EST Friday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.
* Locations... north central and northwest Massachusetts as well as
southern New Hampshire.
* Hazard types... heavy snow and dangerously low wind chills.
Considerable blowing and drifting snow resulting in poor
visibility.
* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 8 to 14 inches.
* Timing... areas of light snow will develop after midnight and
continue at times through Thursday. There may be a lull in the
snow during the day Thursday... especially south of the
Massachusetts Turnpike. The worst of the storm is expected to
be Thursday night into early Friday with 1 to 2 inch per hour
snowfall rates possible.
* Impacts... heavy snow/gusty winds will result in dangerously low
wind chills along with considerable blowing and drifting snow.
Travel may become impossible.
* Winds... north 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
* Visibilities... one half mile or less at times.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning is issued when an average of 6 or more
inches of snow is expected in a 12 hour period... or for 8 or more
inches in a 24 hour period. Travel will be slow at best on well
treated surfaces... and quite difficult on any unplowed or
untreated surfaces.

waiting on the rest of the dump of snow were getting here in the midwest looking forward to or escape from this in a few weeks. As the years go by
more and more I like to think that i'll be able to get away when winter hits here in the states and go down south. I do enjoy revin up the snowblower
and cleaning up the neighborhood then coming in to a nice hot meal of beef stew my honey made today. i wonder if i'll miss that in a few more years?

Mid 70's at our house today in North County San Diego! It was beautiful!!!
The SAME boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. It's about what you are made of NOT the circumstance.
