Cheep Long distance calls to every where

http://www.skype.com/
Check this website you can download the software free it takes about 10 minuets

By a cheep headset at radio shack or computer store about 10 dollars.

Setup the software. This is really easy on this one

And you can call any phone in the world for 2 cents U.S. a minuet or call any one else that has the same setup free yes free. And talk as long as you like and as often as you like??..

This operates on full duplex that means no push to talk buttons and no annoying squelch

I'm temporarily working in Peru and I use Skype to talk with my wife in California and colleagues in Russia.

The only problem is when one person is on a dial-up internet connection, there is a lag between each side speaking. It is like using a radio under these conditions.

Don't post personal info in your profile. My wife identified herself as female and received hundreds of calls until she made herself invisible to non-selected friends.

we have been using vonnage down here in los barriles for over a year and love it, $38 a month, unlimited calls and no voice delay. our old ph. bills avg. $500 to a $1,000 per month, quite a savings.

I am interested to know more about how VoIP works with your sat connection. In my experience I have found both Starband and Diertway to be too poor of quality for VoIP calls. Can you tell me more about what sat service you use?

Blackie, (appropriate name), your signature block is equally offensive no matter which forum you post it on. But is effective in discouraging anyone who's accused you of any intelligencee.

I have not experienced any delay on this system at all . I some times get an echo when I talk to some one with out headset.

When I call a telephone the only comment I get is how clear the connection is .
I use a 56 bad dial up modem.

Very cool! Thanks for the phone call. I was impressed with the sound quality.

I have also found active discussion on VoIP via satelite Internet at http://www.datastormusers.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi/index.h...
