Earthquake ??


Anyone in the San Felipe area feel an earthquake a couple of hours ago? Apparently a 5.2 about 60 mi ESE of SF.

Thanks for the reply windgrrl. We have friends down at Pta Bufeo right now and they aren't replying to email. Since the first of these tremors (I think there have been three.) occurred a couple of hours ago, I expected him to get in touch. The epicenter was over 6 mi deep, so I'll sit on the "no news is good news".

series of 3 so far I guess.4.6, 4.9, 5.2 10 km deep out is the water 100 km south of San Felipe and Rocky Point.

Thanks, blackwolf, I have that one.

I think those tremors didn't cause much excitement down south. Probably having the three is succession relieved a lot of pressure deep down. I haven't heard otherwise.
