Need Osprey's comment on if this is acceptable Baja clothing

SWMBO was god-smacked that I wore this today. All Day. At work. I explained that it was casual Friday but she said I must burn these and can not
even wear them in Camp Gekco. /Can't wear them fishing even though why the fish would care is beyond me.
She won't even let me donate them to Goodwill under the theory that folks who shop there should not be thought less of.
OK, while I've never been accused of being a clothes horse, I don't see why south of the border there would be an issue.
By the way, I got two of them for the price of one.
What say you?

Well, I can tell you what osprey will say:
These are unacceptable. You need to have those small holes under the armpits. You simply won't catch as many fish this way. Of course - it's your
choice.

There are clothes for all occasions but that looks like a Wal Mart shopper, for bargain hunting, not for fishing. I could be wrong -- surface food
fish might find that outfit a signal that you are impoverished and need food. Might get you charity bites. I think that particular combo might be
better for frogging, at night, alone on the bayou. Attire is very personal so don't go by me.

Go back to WalMart and get a Hawaiian shirt, preferably one with giant pineapples. Make sure the colors don't match the shorts (or the kilt, or
whatever it is). Add a pair of neon green flip flops and you'll be good to go.

That's funny right there but, and I swear this is true, on the way home from work that day I stopped in a WalMart, something I haven't done in years.
I won't go so far as to say I was over dressed, but you could see it from there. Whoa.
In my defense, I did get dressed in the dark so as not to p*ssoff SWMBO but that's starting to get pretty difficult nowadays.....

The shorts are OK.
Need some flip flops.
Change the shirt to a Los Barriles T shirt.

Outfit looks fine to me. But I am a woman who owns just three pairs of shoes.
Guy on tv looks like Daniel Meade. Do I get a partial point?
(edited to correctly spell woman. geez)

If the shirt and shorts were neatly ironed, you did a good job putting the wrinkles in. Almost looks like they were never ironed. good job.
