NEW GAME, NOT FER SISSIES

I meant to start my tenure as a 'Senior Nomad' with something lite-hearted rather than the alternatives as of late, but... better late than never. So, in the spirit of comedy and friendship, I offer you:

My better half and I have come up with a new way to enjoy the taste and benefits of Corralejo (or the libation of your choice).
BE ADVISED, THIS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS HEALTH BENEFITS, LIKE FORGETTING WHAT 'OT' MEANS, ETC.... so continue at your own risk:

Pick a TV show or movie of choice after dinner, and have a SMALL set of shot-glasses handy and some Tequila Corralejo (or your Fave) handy. First, pick the subject matter, and pick a 'key-word' (WARNING---not too obvious!!!) and start the program with shooters amply, but not totally filled ( I WARNED YOU). Every time the 'key word' comes up, you begin just sipping.... ONLY sipping... unless it comes up before the shooter is dry, then must be downed immediately and re-filled. Then, only sip, unless..... you get the picture.

Rule #2- your choice.... after --#'s of hits, then it's just ONE SIP per word-hit, until either the show... or YOU... are done.

Yes, I'm still living in a liquid medium, but I don't care as much about things that don't concern me, especially when it's too windy to fish.

If you find this offensive, joke you if you can't take a .... hint....
HAPPY DAZE,
Da buddha:cool: I iz now a seenyor!!!
... can anyone tell me how to get an 'en-yay' on the 'n' here? i know on 'documents' it's 'alt164', but when i do it on the forum here it knocks me out of the ballpark. Little help, plz!

I have played that game. It was called Bob. Watching the Bob Newhart show anytime anyone said Bob you had to take a shot. Hard to make it thru a 30 minute show.

To get all the proper Spanish spelling of words just use SpanishDirect and type in the word in English and it gives you the correct Spanish spelling. In this case Mister = señor then copy and paste into your BN post.
However if you meant to translate SENIOR then its Mayor. Congratulations for reaching that plateau. Only 25,000 more posts and you will catch up with DENNIS

ñ...164
Ñ......165

Hold down the ALT key while you type in the number.

I've been surprised how often I get to use ALT+0176 for the degree symbol. 72° right now in Bahia Asuncion. ¡Que bueno! ALT+0161 for the leading punctuation.

Whew! The show we watched was a NOVA special on earthquakes. The 'secret word' we picked was ''magnitude''. Shoulda made it a little more oblique; had to go to the 'sip' rule at 35 minutes in, and made a decision not to play more than twice a week.......

And, THANKYEW doble for the alt164 etc., great tutorial for us cyber-challenged. Any more would be equally appreciated. I made a note to stickie-up next to the monitor. Keep 'em coming!
