how to call a cell phone in Baja


Can someone please explain how I can call a Cell phone in Rosarito from Calif. I have the last 7 digits and tried using the 01152-661 first but can not get the call to go thru. I know I must be missing something...And yes, I tried to search function but got lost in all the info there....Thanks in advance..



Mexico!! Where two can live as cheaply as one.....but it costs twice as much.....

You need to dial 1 before the area code ie. 011-52-1-661-123-4567

Terry, put a 1 in front of your Baja area code like 01152 1 661 *** **** :cool:

To dial a Mexican land line, precede the area code with 011-52. To dial a Mexican cell phone,
precede the area code with 011-52-1.
