Just checked NHC, and that low has become "Marie". She is projected cat 4 within the next 4 days....Discussion and track are scary....

Marie, Worth keeping an eye on. Predicted to develop quickly. The computed path models show a tight grouping moving west of Baja but I haven't seen a prediction yet that was correct so I'll watch her closely.

...sounds like a biggie,,but is projected to bring little more than good surf waves(for surfers) and perhaps some precipitation

Its not Maria that bothers me...its that each one (and there has been a bunch) keeps staying further and further to the East. when is the season over? October...November.

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on recently
upgraded Hurricane Karina located more than a thousand miles east of
the Big Island of Hawaii, on Tropical Storm Lowell located nearly a
thousand miles west of the southern tip of the Baja California
peninsula, and on Tropical Storm Marie located several hundred miles
south of Zihuatanejo, Mexico.
