Anyone feel the earthquake this morning?
There was a 4.1 earthquake off shore near the border this morning at 5 AM. Roughly 35 miles offshore of Rosarito.
Any impacts SOB?
Here's one report: http://timesofsandiego.com/life/2014/09/07/offshore-earthqua...
Tried posting the related image showing location, but need someone to please post a reminder how to resize these large images - thank you!

No shaking felt here in North County San Diego. |
...maybe a bit of finger-wagging!

LOL, if whale-ista can't figure out how to drop it to 800 pixels or less, then Doug will likely shrink it as he does with the few other Nomads who
don't bother to follow the request.

Finger wagging noted. Will someone please post a reminder on how to resize images. I did a search before posting and could not find the answer. A
reminder would be more helpful them a wag.

Thanks for reports regarding impacts (or non-impacts) of the earthquake. I haven't seen any reports of damages- it was "only" a 4.1, and 35 mls.
offshore.
Some have noted a possible relationship to strong storms and earthquakes. Have any other tremors been recorded in Baja Sur over the last few days?

As for resizing images: I searched and read several of the Photo Gallery posts. They are helpful for Photobucket users and show how to resize images
uploaded from Photobucket.
I don't use Photobucket, and this is a link from a news website, so this was not applicable. I reviewed other Photo Gallery posts that mention "the
website should have resized them." This is not always the case, as with this image.
Basically, I was looking for a reminder of the HTML method to resize an image, that could be added to the IMG SRC code. I'll review the HTML before
trying this again.

Well yes, you need Photobucket (or a similar photo hosting site) to upload the image to, and auto resize it to fit on Nomad (800 pixels max). It is
FREE.
Here is the map, at 800 pixels wide:

Resizing images is noted in the FAQ:
http://forums.bajanomad.com/faq.php?page=misc#1
After the "img" add an equals sign "=", and then the dimensions to display the image in (example: 800x600), thus...
img=800x600 [in brackets, of course]

OK, let's try that!
The image link:
http://timesofsandiego.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/photo1...
add tags and to each side of image link (but without spaces added to show the tags here).
You get:
EDIT after looking at the post: OK, so the 600 length with the 800 width is a bit distorted looking, whereas Photobucket matches the correct length
(height) of the photo ratio when it resizes the width. The photo bucket dimensions are 800x450.
Here is using ...

Maybe it will buy them the excuse they need to move back the grand opening this month!??
They blamed the slide on a much smaller quake... right?
