BAJA BEACH BASH FUNDRAISER BENEFITING BAHIA ASUNCION LIFEGUARD PROGRAM in Hermosa Beach, Sunday September 14.
Hola Bajanomads,
I would like to invite everyone to a lifeguard beach party-fundraiser at The Deck in Hermosa Beach on September 14 at 1:00pm.
This event will help our volunteer organization cover transportation, vehicle insurance, gas, and food costs for the 20 volunteers traveling to Bahia
Asuncion. In addition, it will cover the costs incurred by our host families and equipment needed for training and safety.
We will be holding the Baja Beach Bash and fundraiser for all Lifeguards, friends, family to attend.

WHEN: Starting @ 1pm- Sundown
Sunday, September 14.
We encourage you to join us for a day of fun at the beach. San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles County lifeguard agencies will be joining us on
Sunday, and it will be a fun social event to raise awareness for ISLA, meet lifeguards, talk Baja, enjoy raffles, games, and prizes, and a live DJ.
Entry is $20 and will include food and drink. All proceeds for the day will go to ISLA's Bahia Asuncion expedition.

Hola BajaBlanca.
Thanks for the nice compliment. Our group will be traveling to Bahia Asuncion through Punta Abreojos. The reason is twofold: first, to surf those
amazing right hand point breaks; and second, to talk to the community about re-starting the lifeguard training program in Abreojos. This would allow
us to combine La Bocana and Abreojos next year. We will be arriving in Abreojos on Oct 2. I will let you know how it goes, Lets all work together
to expand the ISLA lifeguard training program in Baja.
