Just incredible, thanks!

I drove from California to Alaska and back in 1975, still want to do it again.

Last trip to Alaska was 5 years ago to Dutch Harbor. Bald Eagles, whales, and great fishing for cod, salmon and halibut. Sorry I don't have photos. It is a great place.

It must've have been even more amazing back then. That cabin was from a homesteader on Lake Byers at around your time (1968).

There is still much wildlife though. I almost had a roadkill of a grizzly. He just jumped out in front of me on the road leaving Seward.

Marika and I did that trip in 2004 and spent the entire summer up there and this summer I and a friend are going again. I absolutely love the drive up and the drive back. Every turn in the road opens a new vista and experience. This time I will know a little more what to expect so it should be great and maybe we can expose all the people on the way to a little Mariachi Music from Mexico.

Skipjack -

Still looks incredible based on your photos. One of my favorite areas was the Yukon Terrirtory, very rural and fewer tourists.

Pescador -

Have a great 2nd trip. I need to do it again.

You woke me with this one Igor! what a beautiful pic and stream,I would love to fish a stream like that again and if things slowed down I could just sit down and take all that in.
You say you have a few more pic,s to share whats keeping you?
Rob

Anyone can catch fish in a boat but only \"El Pescador Grande\" can get them from the beach.

I hope when my time comes the old man will let me bring my rod and the water will be warm and clear.
