Last night was a great group, and we got some good feedback.

Tomorrow night (SAT) at 5:30 we do the show again in Lakeside, CA. then Sunday morning in Orange County, near El Toro/Lake Forest.

The show tells how the 48 California missions were founded in their true order, with a photo slide at each mission and a map to show where the mission is in the three modern states of California. We chat a bit about some interesting tidbit of history at each mission. Max, being the bell expert has a few facts on the mission bells of Alta California too. Max co-hosted with Huell Howser on a one hour California Gold special about the El Camino Real bells.

Nice to see the interest in Baja's missions. I'm sure you and Max are covering them well.

Thank you Jack for your research and great photos... many of which are in the book and shown to our audience!

I am ready to do a full round of updated photos, as it has been around 15 years since you took most of the pictures. I can't get enough of the Baja Time Machine where we can go and be in a place that was alive 300 years ago, in such a remote location.

We're headed down in two weeks, I'll try to hit some in Baja Sur for more recent photos. Things are changing rapidly in Baja. Are you thinking a trip later this spring with 4WD?

Max and I will be in Lakeside today at 5:30 for another presentation of the 48 missions founded from 1697-1834 in the three states of California. Remember, 'Baja' was California first!

When I see Max soon for today's show I will let him know that Lane hasn't replied. I will post details. If you don't see anything here just let the gate guard know you are going to the Canal Zone meeting.

Anyone not a member of the Panama Canal Association, just let the security guard know you are attending the meeting and are invited... Max (a member) tells me it's no problema!
