Mexicali hotels?

Thinking about checking out the brew pub scene in Mexicali in the next month or so.

Can anyone recommend some moderately upscale hotels in the city? Maybe like a Holiday Inn and up?

Hotel Colonial

Nice hotel, just a little south of downtown, on the road toward San Felipe - NORRA uses this hotel as their host hotel for their races. Some nice restaurants nearby though I don't know about the pub scene. Not as fancy as the Lucerna, and likely priced considerably less.

Find a nice one near the brew pub then you can walk, and enjoy the brew

Hotel Araiza on Justo Sierra is well located. Stayed there last Friday and the room was great. Buffet breakfast was tops.
