Mulege Off Road Race NOV 30th
Once again Mulege en Motion presents a race at the track, La Balanzar. This race draws huge crowds as you can actually see the entire track from most
spots which are designated safe viewing areas. Races start at 8am featuring quads, motos, cars and trucks. At least 5 drivers just finished the Baja
1000. Food and beverages will be available, or bring your own grill and tailgate. New this year, I hope, will be a motocross section featuring several
jumps.
Two ways to get there
1. head north on the highway from Mulege to km marker 142, watch for the sign, turn left and go about 2 miles, wide graded dirt road, you can't miss
the track. It is an old tomato packing structure.
2. head out ice house road, turn right 1/2 mile after the concrete plant, keep bearing right, go past aņos nuevos rancho, track is 1/2 mile further
on the right. High clearance vehicle needed.
T shirts available at the track or see other post to order now.

Races start at 9am and will run until about 4pm, and entrance is 50 pesos. It is a good cause, a MnM is a charity non profit organization. Food and
beverages will be available or bring and your own and tailgate.
The party is free, 7pm Saturday in the Plaza ...rock and roll and racing.

The party saturday night drew a huge crowd, the band sounded great even tho Macy had Dengue.
The race drew about twice as many spectators and also racers, as last year. The track was watered down sat. night , sunday morning and in between
each race, so it was perfect. NO DUST and good traction. It started on time, to the disbelief of some races who showed up a hour late! We actually
finished early, about 3pm, so ran some "just for fun" races with various clburros* participating, with some surprising results. Waiting for some pics
to show up on facebook.
