So, how cold is it?

I'd love to hear just how cold Baja got over the New Year period. San Diego recorded 40 degrees and lower, the whole U.S. is getting frizzer-burned. What's the temps at your place?

It can't be cold everywhere. Anchorage is reporting 38 degrees and raining, forecast is for 43 tomorrow. Skiers are NOT happy!
Driving also kind of sucks when it rains on ice.

A balmy 65 degrees here in Pescadero. How come it won't post if I use the symbol for degrees?

Funny...I just had the same problem. On a Mac the degree symbol is "option 0" and will not post.

On the way to the baithole in front of San Lucas Cove it was 46 but by the time the sun came out it warmed up nicely. This morning it was 59, cloudy and spitting rain.

Brrrr...it is 60 degrees in Bahia Asuncion this morning but looks promising to warm up once that brisk NE wind changes to NW...just in time for our polar bear swim!

How cold is it? I have socks on this morning!

You ex-pats down here think it was cold last night? Wait till you feel the next night or two.

At least there were clouds around last night to mitigate the cold, you pantywaists. Tonight and tomorrow will be the cold air behind the front. Probably Catavina will reach freezing and there will be high 30s-low 40s in lots of places.

But we have a significant warming trend in the offing, starting Sunday. Strong winds from the NW, too, especially along the inside of Baja, from the northern Sea down to La Paz.

My father in law just sent us pics of them shoveling snow in LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ!!!!

Too big to post, too lazy to host.

Looked like about 3-4 inches. I think the shoveling pic was all for show; probably to send to his friends back in Colorado. It's probably already gone.

Here in Baja New Mexico we had a typical NM snow this early a.m. At first light everything white, by 11:00 all melted and gone (whew). Low of 22, we've warmed up to a balmy 24 now. More Karfunda (pet name for slop) is expected early tomorrow, and breezy; can't even use the hot tub *sniff*.
