Rafael is the owner of Pete's Camp. He is well known in San Felipe and does much to help the town. I know that he helps local youth attend University.

From the looks of the first photo, those don't appear to be skid marks, more like under power. From the wreckage in the foreground, to the resting place of the vehicles, it looks like the guy in the Ford not only rammed Raphael but tried to do a pit maneuver (as seen on TV cop shows).
It would be interesting to know what or who put him up to to that, but from the photos, it doesn't look like an accident!
