It looks different and maybe of some help but this morning it's not correct at sea level here. Showing West wind which is a rarity here. I book marked
it and will check later.

I've used sailflow for years but it's always nice to have a second opinion before heading out on the water. For the next several days it has a
similar forecast to sailflow in BOLA, I'll need to ground-truth it next time I'm down there.

I'm going to check out it's accuracy on a big lake in Canada. Compare it to my rock on a rope method...

Blowing a lot harder left to right here than shows on the chart today. But here we are on the near east cape in the big baja wind eddy. Often it will
blow left to right on the outside and right to left on the inside, as a result of prevailing winds blowing down both sides of the peninsula and
wrapping to meet at the bottom.
So, "forecast" for here? Look out the window.
Cool site none the less. Thanks

I've always liked this interface and I feel it is pretty accurate for our area.
http://windalert.com/en-us/Search/ViewResults.aspx#27.668,-1...
It's part of the Weatherflow family.

The guy who showed me this said it was the one that most of the Baja-Haha boats use.

Way over my head and since I neither surf nor have a sailboat, I'll follow El Jefe's forecast technique. Not sure how it would affect the kayak I
plan on getting. It will have to be inflatable since I couldn't possible load and unload the other kind, lol!

This will be fun to compare with Bouyweather for awhile and see what it shows. I have tried Sailflow and some of the others but for the Santa Rosalia
area, they miss more frequently than not, but sometimes Bouyweather is off the mark too, so will follow this for awhile and see what it shows.
