By rooting around a little bit, I found these three collections dated yesterday:

Those look like most of the photos Blanca published on FB.
I think that for now she has given up publishing the blog of her trip because of too many glitches within the blog program.

Maiden Castle Iron Age Fort village
We went to this man-made iron age fort -ie: before the Romans invaded Britain.
They built up the hill to make invaders visible from afar
They made a maze to get up it to make invasion very difficult
The people lived at the top
Truly amazing feat:

thanks -much more to come.....I have abandoned the blog since it wont load my pics. If anyone knows of another freebee blog with picture loading
capability, pls. let me know.
I created an account for photobucket under the name Blanquita Heil which Les though amusing. I am out of room on bajablanca1 and almost out of space
on bajablanca2, so I had to get creative!
Ok, off to explore more soon. ta ta (as they say here)

THE FARM WE ARE AT IN SOMERSET, ENGLAND
LINK TO PICS
http://s296.photobucket.com/user/bheilheil/media/Farm%20in%2...
THE MAIN HOUSE - this beautiful home has raised 4 generations of kids. It is a working dairy farm although Arthur is now downsizing in preparation for
retirement. He does the vegetable gardening and his wife Genesta does the flower gardening. England is famous for its gardens and Somerset is living
proof - everyone's garden is more colorful than the last!
THIS HAS BEEN A DAIRY FARM - NO ONE TO TAKE OVER MEANS CHANGES CHANGES
THERE IS MORE BUT I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE PICS FROM THE NEW PHONE WE BOUGHT....

TMW it is amazingly quiet here - the birds sing all day long. No rain (we are lucky) and slight breezes. Coolish but not cold. Love it!

A restaurant built in 1616
Typical here in England that older buildings are preserved and converted into businesses. The best way to keep history alive.
This is where we had lunch a couple days ago - great food - sorry that we were so busy eating that I did not get pics but the sandwiches were huge and
could easily have fed 2 with only one. We ended up taking half home and eating it the next day.
