Sea of Cortez Hates Dodge Trucks
Tis the season, Memorial Day 2015
Near Pete's Camp in San Felipe, another American watched to many TV commercials, from Dodge, and dumped his 2014 pickup into a mud hole in the Sea of
Cortez.
Don't folks get it, just because Sam Elliot, uses his deep voice to talk about a Dodge Ram truck, that it is still a Fiat Truck. Dodge has been on
the bottom of the barrel for truck sales, FOR YEARS and it is obvious, they can't swim either!

About those Dodges. The Cortez doesn't hate this one. On the contrary, I can only speak for myself..and will. Take care of your stuff. My Dodge
Cummins 4x4 has over 500,000 miles on it and has spent half it's life next to salt water, where it gets constant washdowns. It's running strong today
and likely will continue with proper maintenance...even working as a tugboat at times.
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

I filled the tank on my '01 Cummins at the "no name" station across from Home Depot in La Mesa after the Super Bowl and could easily have made Bahia
Asuncion on that tank. I did fill in Viz. 'cuz that's the right thing to do. He's a youngster at 200,000 and I don't take that heavy truck on the
beach. 'Cuz that's the wrong thing to do.

Different strokes. I bought my Dodge as a truck, not for putting around. When I hit that igniton, my truck voices say "Try..and the world is yours."
Here's mine 4500 miles north from the last photo and we're both breathing easy. I can recommend Dodge/Cummins as a workhorse.

Pompano and vgabndo, the 2500 cummins is my dream truck. Just makes sense. I'm still pushing around a gas heavy 1500.
To the OP. Fiat? Really? Sam Elliot made them get stuck? I can see that. People are lame... so, a hummer would get stuck too. Machismo is a funny
thing. i don't care anymore.

Steve Kassanyi (sp) known as Dr. Checker owned one before his passing. Steve was race director or some such position with SCORE in the 80s and 90s. I
think he was also the president of the Checker Off-Road car club at one time.

I'm sure it is a fine car, but the guy that bought my race kart from me had to make 2 trips to get everything home in one. We also had to remove
wheels and side pods because they were too wide. I don't know how he ever thought he was getting to the track with it.
