If you think by "escaping" to Mexico you will avoid these problems and conditions, you are in for a big surprise

I had the great pleasure of being here in Canadalandia for our July 1st festivities. It was so fun...we were at my Mom's riverfront condo right on the
park so the live bands were right in front of us and the best fieworks I have ever seen...so I am feeling very patriotic and nostalgic for my birth
country...screw Harper.

For all those respecting Canada as a good country with good people, maybe you could stop the disrespectful jesting about "Kanuckistan", etc.
It is "CANADA".....that is "c" eh "N" eh "D" eh.
Maybe those with a Canadian spouse should get a smack on the head until they get it right

This year I sent my Canadian wife to Edmonton, for her annual visit with her family, via Westjet rather than drive her.She enjoyed Canada day and all
the fireworks while I sit here alone in Baja waiting for Mexican Independence day Sept. 15th. I really can't wait that long so I will be celebrating
USA Independence day on the 4th. There is always plenty of fireworks here in Punta Banda.

Being in Canada on it's birthday made me all nostalgic...my sister and I had a ringside seat from my mom's condo in Sarnia.

I notice that the Aca-NA- dians/ Cajuns in Lousiana do not celebrate Canada Day but they celebrate Bastille Day on July 14th. Is it that way in
Quebec also?

There is a disorder of some kind. Even Canadians who speak good Spanish frequently say Cabo as in Taxi Cab-o. And Panga like Hunger Pang-uh.

I've loved linguistics since I was a teenager in the Army, and have always enjoyed trying to detect the origin of dialect all over America. Canadian
Espaņol has all the trappings to us as i'm sure all our attempts have to La Gente (payngas are my fave). Between the diversity and the tipping, I do
admit I thank my Northern Neighbors for making the "Ugly American" look just a little bit better, with ALL due respect. We sit around the campfires
(for us low-life trailer trash types) and bash each other left and right (You can tell an American anything, just not MUCH.......etc.) but you folks
do make passable whiskey.
I don't have a BUCKET LIST, but I do have a F***- IT LIST a mile long!
