Otovice area in Czeck Republik

Yesterday we ventured far, far south into the Czeck Republik. It is green and beautiful- the people were so friendly.....we got lost and had to ask for help.

We are exactly in Hyncice when we ask for directions from the first bike rider we see:

AND I TAKE A SNAP OF THE ROAD:

THAT IS HIM IN THE DISTANCE, RIDING DOWN THE SAME ROAD:

THESE ARE THE NEXT TWO BIKERS WHO COME DOWN THE ROAD AND TO BE SAFE, WE ASK THEM FOR DIRECTIONS TOO:

HERE IS SOME THE BEAUTIFUL SCENERY OF THIS AREA:

ANOTHER HELPER - TRYING TO UNDERSTAND CZECK WAS FUN:

WE DECIDED TO STOP FOR A CUPPA COFFEE - HERE ARE THE FLOWERS OUTSIDE THE BAR/RESTAURANT - THE COLORS OF THE FLOWERS ARE SO BRIGHT:

NOW, IF YOU LOOK TOWARDS THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE COUNTER, YOU WILL SEE A BILLBOARD WITH SOME POSTCARDS SENT TO THE OWNER:

HERE IS THE MENU:

HERE IS A COLLECTION OF BOOZE THEY HAD:

THE OTHER SIDE:

LES'S SIS AND BROTHER IN LAW AND ME IN MY MEXICO SHIRT!

I GUESS THEY WON A PRIZE IN 2009- PLAQUE ON THE WALL:

ALSO ON THE WALL- OVERVIEW OF THE AREA:

I MADE FRIENDS WITH THE OWNER AND WILL BE SENDING HER POSTCARDS:

HER RESTAURANT IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SKLEP (STORE):

AND AS WE LEFT, THESE FOLKS WERE RIDING BY:

WHAT LITTLE WE SAW OF CZECK TOTALLY IMPRESSED ME- THE COUNTRYSIDE IS GORGEOUS AND THERE IS MORE CASH FLOW THAN POLAND, IT SEEMS. MOST BUIDLINGS ARE MAINTAINED WELL THE PEOPLE WERE SUPER FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE CAPPUCCINO IN THE RESTAURANT WAS PERFECTOMUNDO!

What a change from 1972, when we were there for the International Six Day Trials. The Russians were still hanging around, there was almost nothing in the stores The people were great but seemed afraid to talk to foreigners. Country was beautiful, then as now. Thanks for sharing...I'd like to go back!

I'm really enjoying your excursions! I don't know why I took notice but most bikes I'm noticing are what we'd call girls bikes. No ball buster bar.
