Starband

Probably not too many Starband subscribers left out there but for the few of you that are left, be aware that Starband just announced they are going out of business Sept 30. The official announcement is here: http://www.starband.com/

When I called to cancel my Starband service awhile back, the representative asked why, and I told her that Exede was faster, cheaper and more reliable. She basically said whatever, you're cancelled, and hung up. Probably already knew that the end was nigh.

Bob
Not sure screwed is the right term. now those 32,000 can get a better service. At least most of them.

Dano
I called and cancelled in June when I installed Exede at my place in BoLA and starband was almost appreciative. I guess the writing has been on the wall for awhile, their service has gotten so bad lately as to be almost unusable. I installed starband systems for 14 years, but time to move on. Can only hope that I install for Exede as long.
