Wow,RESCHEDULED!!! 10th Annual Baja Nomad Dia de Reyes Toy Drive, January 31st, 2016
We did it! 10 years in a row, consecutive, uninterrupted, one after another, consistent, successive and non stop. Never dreamed of it but here it is
and we're very exited about it.
We plan to make it very special, I don't have all the details yet but will be posting as we get them. We hope many of you can help with toys, gifts
and donations this special year. It will be on January 31ST th, 2016
A hole decade!
(It was originaly for the 17th)
Once again our good friends at Bajabound will be the main drop of point for gifts and donations.
They have a new office location
The new information is:
Toy Drive c/o BajaBound Insurance Services, Inc.
815 J St #303
San Diego, CA 92101
Phone (619) 702-4292
Also if you are in the Rosarito area and want to donate, the drop of location there is Cindy's Mexican Insurance, they are conveniently located on the
main Blvd, at the Rosarito Beach Hotel Shopping Center
We must really have helpers taking the gifts across the border this year, starting early. Maybe we should have a "take gifts across the border"
parade?
We will be in the States for Christmas and count me in.
Thanks Blanca. I don't have the right location yet. I'm trying for a super easy to find place and one that is not out of the way for travelers.
I'll post it as soon as I know.
A well informed Baja California traveler is a smart Baja California traveler!
No real need to wait till the last minute to send your gifts of toys or donations, please feel free to start now.
The support for this event over the years from members of this site has been incredible, and is a so greatly appreciated.
The announcement this year is a little later than in past years, and because of the planning, transportation, etc., which all needs to be done ahead
of time, I believe there's the concern regarding "timing", etc.
While much (most) of the work is done ahead of time, it's always been something members here have been invited to come and participate with on the day
of the toy distribution. Please consider joining us for that event on January 17th.

"If it were lush and rich, one could understand the pull, but it is fierce and hostile and sullen.
The stone mountains pile up to the sky and there is little fresh water. But we know we must go back
if we live, and we don't know why." - Steinbeck, Log from the Sea of Cortez
"People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." - Theodore Roosevelt
"You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them or to them." - Malcolm Forbes
"Let others lead small lives, but not you. Let others argue over small things, but not you. Let others
cry over small hurts, but not you. Let others leave their future in someone else's hands, but not you." - Jim Rohn
